Teams of three athletes represent gyms & boxes from across the globe

160 qualified teams will compete at the finals at
The National Show Centre, Dublin, Ireland.

Type: Adventure Race & Team Throwdown

Sex: Mixed teams of 5 (at least two male/female)

Divisions: Suitable for all levels, no age restrictions

Athlete: Beginners to Advanced

Qualifiers: NO

2- Rookie Games

Type: Individual Beginner Throwdown

Sex: Male & Female


Scaled athletes (by age group)

14-15 or under, 16-17, 18-22, 23-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+

Athlete: Beginners

Wod movements may include. Running, Assault Bike, Object Carry, Power Clean, KB Swing, Thruster, Burpee, Wall Ball, Skipping, Box Jumps, Sit Ups, Deadlift, Ground to Overhead, Get ups & others. Will be programmed to a beginner level.

Qualifiers: NO

3- Adventure Only Pairs

Type: Sprint ‘Adventure’ Race

Sex: Same sex or mixed pairs, Prizes for winners of all 3

Divisions: Suitable for all levels, no age restrictions

Athlete: Beginners to Advanced

Qualifiers: NO

Format : Indoor Assault Bike Relay, 2.5k Trail/Obstacle Run, 2k Paired Kayak, 500m run to finish.

The Celtic Games series is organized and directed by Alan Fitzpatrick from Navan in Co. Meath. Alan has co-organized the ‘The Filthy 150’ for the past 3 years. The 2015 event hosted over 800 athletes, from 80 gyms & 2000 spectators in the National Basketball Arena, Dublin.
Alan is the owner & head coach at CrossFit Navan, where we have hosted & organised several events including the 2013 Filthy 150 & the Grid Invitational tournament in 2015, which saw over 18 affiliates & gyms come together for a unique head to head team event.
CrossFit Navan was also the venue for the first Celtic Fire grid match. Alan is the manager & owner of the Celtic Fire. Ireland’s first Grid team to compete at the International Grid Tournament in Los Angeles in Sept 2015.
